Steve Lary 5th Dan TKI

Steve began karate in 1973 as a member of the KUGB. He is a student of both Alex Wyllie and Ray Fuller and has a fast dynamic style of karate. He has trained with many different Instructors and has fought for Thames many times. He was the captain of the TKI national team in 1982 and the TKI individual Kumite champion in 1983. He was also the silver medalist in the 1983 Great Britain trials.

Steve regularly travels abroad on behalf of TKI and recently spent time in Japan training at the SKI Honbu Dojo and continues to train hard under Senseis Fuller, Wyllie and others. Steve is also a Technical Committee Member.

Steve is also one of the Senior Sensei who instruct on the weekly TKI Instructors class.
