Ray Fuller 8th Dan TKI

Ray Fuller began his Karate training under Vernon Bell in Upminster, Essex. He was one of the first people in England to practice Karate and was the 3rd person to be graded to Shodan by Sensei Kanazawa. He has trained with most of the top Japanese Sensei and also fought Internationally for Sensei Enoeda. Sensei Nakayama awarded him a special certificate for his fighting Spirit. He formed Thames in 1975, along with his then wife Pauline. He is our Chief Instructor and Grading Examiner.
