Jimmy Patterson also began training in Karate under Vernon Bell until he met Ray Fuller. He then left Vernon Bell to train under Ray in Dartford. Jimmy was a member of the Dartford team for many years and as part of Ray's club trained under many of the top Japanese Sensei. Jimmy's technical ability was of an extremely high standard, which is why Ray chose him to become a Grading Examiner. Jimmy was a man of great integrity, honour and kindness. He was a Sensei in every sense of the word and will be greatly missed.
